Some explanations

There are some explanations for things that you can only pick up on by sniffing the air, half-closing your eyes, and leaving behind you the burden we call “dignity”. And before I get myself into trouble by going any further with this analogy, just let me say I’m just having a hard time getting across sensations which are at the same time strong yet refined.
Strong as the desert wind, gentle as a caress. Hard and bold as the mud that splashes up as a spiked wheel passes over it and as enchanting as the surf crashing against the cliffs. A breathtaking landscape around every curve.
This is the exciting and fascinating path of a “Moto Rally” race.

Write, announce, emphasize. The request that comes from the manager of Paioli Meccanica is one of those that has you breathing enthusiasm and satisfaction.
Did you know that Matteo Graziani rode a KTM to victory in the Italian Moto Rally Championship?
What we need to point out here is that Graziani was using a front suspension form Paioli Meccanica: lthea Contender USD 48!
By now I’ve gotten used to bandying about these technological-sounding words, but what really gets me interested is the connection of all this technical stuff with the environment.
A contradiction in terms, you may say. And still, I say that if you really want to enjoy the landscape and nature, you need to get on a motorcycle. Standing around thinking feels like giving up. The dynamic energy of the discoverer feels like a risk, tastes like dust. The view you get looking out the visor of a fibreglass helmet as you go through jumps, bends and turns is something else altogether: more varies, more surprising, more energizing…
The sprays of water you create as you place your wheels on the imperceptible edge of the beach frame a horizontal that no old-time thinker will ever discover.
Am I getting sidetracked here? If you think so, and you’re thinking of the role of someone who is supposed to be handing out commercial information, you’re probably right. If on the other hand you’re ready to capture all the fascination that’s behind any technological company, then you’ll understand what drives the company.
What I’m talking about here is a one of a kind company. At Paioli Meccanica, people study, design, realize front suspensions for motorcycles. Put like that it sounds pretty silly and reminds me of those laundry detergent commercials that tell you that your laundry will be “as white as white can get”. It’s true!
A motorcycle suspension is a product like any other product! But what I’ve found out is that it’s enthusiasm that drives and makes the difference.
Here, the very best engineers from around the world are employed. The idea of “teamwork” is understood in full. You can talk to the secretary of some guy or the person that does the cleaning. You’ll find that they all have a lot more than what you get out of working just to make a living. Here you find the enthusiasm and the knowledge that’s it’s possible to come up with a one-of-a kind product. You can almost hear them saying, “Hey! Maybe it’s worth working after all!”

Satisfaction with hat they’ve accomplished is in everyone’s eyes. You can’t win them all, but when it happens, well, let’s drink to that!

Thanks to Graziano and to the technician Poletti who provided technical support to the champion.
