Paioli Meccanica gets ready for the upcoming 2007 season

There’s nothing like competition to spur initiative and creativity. For months now the Special Products Department of the company in Minerbio has been testing the USD 48-mm project, aimed at competing in Cross, Enduro, Motorally and Super Motard during the upcoming 2007 season.
This is a front suspension designed in cooperation with W.P. More smarts, more new features and reliability underscore this joint effort.
What was most challenging for the technicians was the development of a pressurized closed cartridge. This is a new feature, at least as concerns the structural characteristics and the use of the materials.
After months of the most demanding tests, the project was approved by technical management and production started on the first series.

Here is a preview of some of the features:
- Hot forged inner tubes with hard coloured anodising surface treatment.
- Force tubes can be treated PVD or Rainbow, at client’s discretion.
- Sheaths in Ergal, also with hard coloured anodising surface treatment.
- Range of springs capable of meeting specific requirements.
We could go on by mentioning steering columns, adjustments, and so on. Seeing is believing!
