...a record-setting 2006 !

     That the measure of excellence of a company can be seen in the numbers is undoubtedly a wise statement. There are criteria of evaluation which, when they differ from normal parameters, give a longer-term picture of reality.
In 2006 Paioli Meccanica has maintained its usual growth pattern. And still it was an important year!
So what's new? We'll show you right away.
     In the world of mechanics, especially where two-wheeled vehicles are involved, progress in innovation takes place at the speed of changes in fashion. It is easy to see that this is a field where competition is fierce. There may not be many combatants in the field, but they come ready to fight. New realities appear in this manufacturing scenario. They emerge from countries and peoples with long-standing traditions and cultures. They need to be taken into account and the approach cannot be one of blind presumption

     What all this means is that dynamicity that characterizes the management of the Fin-San Group has established a new corporate relationship with Endurance, India's famous leading company in the field of mechanics. Paioli Meccanica, which is the flagship company of the Fin San Group, will gain new elements of comparison from this agreement, and the blend of knowledge from such very different cultures can only have creative effects.

     But the year that is drawing to a close has brought with it many other major developments. Major milestones have been reached in the field of front suspensions have achieved important objectives. Along with the normal production which is the result of collaboration with major motorcycle manufacturers, many new models have been developed aimed at the world of competition and after-market. These elite products embody the results of years of research which have finally made a place for themselves in the world championships of all specialties: 125/250 GP, Super Bike, Cross, Enduro, Moto rally, trial, Mini bike, Pit bike.

     The commitment in this mad world of competitions is for Paioli Meccanica a calculated honour. The benefits gained include training of technicians, testing products in extreme conditions, and the inventive results gained from the mass of data that these tests on the racetrack will produce.

     The front suspensions involved in this process of stimulation-application are numerous. At the EICMA 2006 in Milan, they will all be on display at the company's stand. here are just a few:

- USD 37 GP 125, a suspension that in the course of the year has been developed on three types of frame. It is available in various external configurations.
- USD 43 Super Bike, available both in the classic hydraulic cartridge version and in the nitrogen sealed cartridge version. This system is offered also for 250 GP and for Moto GP.
- USD 48 pressurized, a rather expensive fork but with truly outstanding performance. It has been extensively tested and includes a nitrogen sealed cartridge. A completely new concept of hydraulics has been designed in collaboration with WP. With the technical solutions implemented (pressurized nitrogen) the drop in performance due to oil emulsion is practically eliminated.
- USD 46 SBK radial, dedicated mainly to Tuning. It has a very pleasing appearance and is technically very efficient. This suspension is garnering plenty of favour because it can be customized to meet your needs, both in technical terms and in appearance (colours, surface finishes and so on).
USD 36 Pit Bike, at the EICMA the most economic version is presented, which includes forged inner tubes (rather than obtained from solid), with no adjustments from the outside and without treated force tubes (Rainbow, PVD or TiN).

     Other forks on display at the stand of Paioli Meccanica include some really great ones produced for Beta and Sherco for the 2007 racing season. Another new development is the Conventionale produced for Yamaha, a very fashionable motor-scooter. But there are lots of other new things, for example for the Enduro 50 and 125 cc market.

And so, what you'll find at the EICMA exposition in Milan is a Paioli Meccanica that's forward-looking and full of health.
