2009: excellent!

2009 april 21

A debut to the start of the MX3 and 125 Class World Championships able to ensure world-beating progression.

Since Paioli Meccanica chose to take part in the various Championships it hasn’t had to wait for results. The competitive quid offered by the Paioli Meccanica suspension system had made all the difference! It’s not about boasting, but a statement of fact arising from results obtained during the last few years. Just looking at 2008, here is a summary:
- World Champion 2008 MX 65 cc. - with Metrakit
- European Champion 2008 in 125 GP - with Savadori
- Italian Champion 2008 in 125 GP - with Savadori
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in Italian Honda Trophy 125 GP
- Italian Champion Moto Rally 2008 - with Graziani
- Excellent results were also achieved by Iannone, with the 125 GP in the World Championships.

And now 2009 opens with a victory for Julien Vanni in Hawkstone, in the Motocross World Championships and another, by Andrea Iannone, in the Class 125 World Championships achieved at the Losail circuit in Qatar.

Back from his success in the Supercross in Turin at Hawkstone, Vanni also won third place in race one as well as a wonderful victory in race two.
The Qatar race reminded Iannone of the achievement in China last year which was also run in heavy rain.
This is a start which steels Paioli technicians; because this is a typically Italian company, actually a typically Emilian [region of Emilia in north-east Italy] company! This is speed cult land, where things are done well, technological products also become advanced designs, it represents a matrix of values exemplified in internationally famous Personalities and Companies.

Paioli Meccanica has always been a part of this context.
The two suspension systems which are used in the motorbikes that won these initial championship rounds are the same as those appearing in the production catalogue aimed at the many people passionate about quality motorbikes. They are the 48mm Upside Down for Cross-Enduro and the 37mm 125 GP. Same materials, same technical foresight. What changes and further amplifies their efficiency is perhaps the setting. The calibrating intervention is easily accessible (as it is adjusted from the outside) both regarding the wheelbase and the internal nitrogen pressure to the cartridges. Extension, Compression and Preload of the springs are again easily adjustable from the outside.

Even though this is all about gratification, we cannot but mention the global crisis. All productive sectors are hit by it, however at Paioli Meccanica there is the conviction that with quality one can win! Even over the crisis.
